Vision in White

On visiting Rina Dhaka store in DLF Emporio, our hearts were captivated by the theme of the store, from the decor to the beautiful display of the collection. Her collection was a mix of comfortable and classic silhouettes with outfits that were unique and free spirited. We could see a variety in traditional textiles, crochet and spider web motifs in pastels and whites. Ethnic and conventional attires reigned the store. The combination of separates were such that they gave the liberty to mix and match.

Even though it was difficult for our stylist to pick up only a handful of pieces from that room of magnificent pieces, we managed to pick a few for the blog. Here’s one of them:

The outfit we chose here, we call it a vision in white! The immaculate floor length ivory suit will make you feel like a princess! It’s a luxurious anarkali design of pure cotton fabric with beautiful chikan embroidered work above the yoke. The flowy design and the lace detail ivory dupatta makes the outfit very elegant and classy .The round neckline with potli buttons gives the perfect detailing to the look.
We teamed up the lovely suit with the ethnic jhumki’s, the chunky amrapali style necklace and silver rings to give that perfect vintage touch. The champagne color glitter candy bag adds the needed fusion to the complete ethnic outfit.

Style Tips-
Jewellery: Go vintage by matching the crisp white outfit with silver jewellery. If you are not a fan of statement neck pieces, you can go for traditional jhumkis or just a drop of pearl.

Footwear: You can go for silver or multicolor mojiris for footwear to elevate the simple looking outfit.

Hairstyle: Wear your hair down center-parted with bronze smokey makeup and nude lips.

Where to wear this outfit?
This classic white outfit can be worn at an engagement party, a day function, friend’s mehendi day, anniversary events , big Diwali party and what not! This color for this spring summer,17 will surely catch eyes be it a day or an evening event.

This outfit suits almost every woman and every body type. It makes you look taller and leaner. The yoke length needs to be taken care of according to the body. If you are a plus size, go for a bigger yoke. If you are apple shaped, go for an empire line waist. The waistline should be at your smallest part of the waist.
Women with heavy arms, should opt for three-forth or full sleeves to take the focus off the arms.
If you have heavy bottom area, this design is a must have. It will hide your problem area and make the best assets be in focus!
